Waaree Energies IPO Listing: Waaree Energies, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, saw its shares make a strong debut on the Indian stock exchanges on Monday, October 28, 2024.
The company’s shares made a strong debut on the BSE, listing at Rs 2,550 apiece, a 69.66% premium to the IPO allotment price of Rs 1,503. On the NSE, Waaree Energies shares listed at Rs 2,500 apiece, a 66.33% premium to the IPO allotment price.
According to several media reports, In the grey market, the company’s unlisted shares were trading at a premium of Rs 1,275, representing an 84.83% gain over the IPO allotment price of Rs 1,503, hinting at a strong market debut.
Waaree Energies IPO Listing: All Details
The Waaree Energies IPO witnessed a remarkable subscription of 76.34 times on the third day, driven primarily by institutional investors who subscribed 208.63 times, while non-institutional investors followed with a subscription of 62.48 times, according to reports.
Meanwhile, the retail investor segment witnessed a subscription of 10.79 times. With an unprecedented response from investors, the IPO surpassed the previous records set by Bajaj Housing Finance, Tata Technologies, and LIC, achieving the highest application volume ever seen in an Indian IPO, said reports.
