UP Roadways Fare : If you use UP roadways buses for travelling then there is bad news for you. The journey has now become more expensive. Actually, the UP government has increased the fare of UP Roadways buses. The increased fare is effective from 7th of February. According to information, the fare of a normal bus is increased by 25 paise per kilometer. The increased fare has been implemented on Janrath, AC sleeper and high class Volvo buses as well. With the increased fare, The UP’s Transport Corporation is estimated to get a revenue of more than Rs 2.5 crore.
UPSRTC issues the instructions
The chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Transport Authority L Venkateswara Lu issued instructions regarding the increased fare. According to instructions, the fare of UP Transport Corporation buses has been increased by 25 paise per kilometer. Let us tell you, This decision was taken in the meeting of the State Transport Authority last week.
Premium Buses fare also increases
According to the new fare list ,the fare of a normal bus has been increased by 25 paise per kilometer. Now, the cost of a normal bus has increased from Rs 1.05 to Rs 1.30. per kilometer. The fare of Jan Rath 3×2 will now be Rs 1.63, Janrath 2×2 bus fare has been increased from Rs 1.68 per kilometer to Rs 1.93 per kilometer. At the same time, the AC sleeper fare of UP Roadways which was earlier Rs 2.33 per kilometer has now been increased to Rs 2.58 per kilometer.
