Garg said, “You don’t announce Pay Commission constitution in the budget. The Pay Commission will be set-up, that is already announced by the Minister. Though there is no official communication about its constitution.”
Furthermore, Garg said, “I think the next step will be, may be one or two months down the line that the government will formally notify (the new Pay Commission).” “They have to select a lot of people, take approvals, draft the terms of reference. All these things are not the part of the Budget,” he added.
