AAS Vidyalaya, translating to “Anytime Anywhere School,” disrupted the education sector on Shark Tank India (Season 1). Founded by Vikas and Leela Kakwani, it aimed to bring the school experience directly to students’ homes through online learning platforms.

During their pitch, the Kakwanis sought ₹1.5 crore for a 3% equity stake, which resonated with investors Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, and Ashneer Grover. Ultimately, AAS Vidyalaya secured ₹1.5 crore for a 15% equity stake, the highest investment in Shark Tank India Season 1. 3. OLL: A Young Founder’s Big Dreams on Shark Tank India

Ed-Tech Startup OLL received Rs 30 lakhs in funding from Peyush Bansal, President of Lenskart, and Vineeta Singh, Chief of SUGAR Cosmetics. Led by a 18-year-old dropout Shreyaan Daga, OLL aimed to bridge the skills gap among Indian students. With a strong business model and a 200% year-on-year growth trajectory, OLL looked at reshaping (skill based) education system in India.
