Share Market Update: Due to the increasing Covid cases in China, countries around the world have come on alert mode. Its effect is being seen on the share market of the world including India. The Indian domestic stock market is in a downward trend for the fourth consecutive day today amid weak signals from the international and US markets. Even today both Sensex and Nifty have a declining trend. Both Sensex and Nifty are trading on the red mark. Today trading started with a fall of 625 points in Sensex and more than 150 points in Nifty.

On Friday, the fifth and last day of this trading week, trading in the Indian stock market started with a red mark. Today, BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opened at 60,200 level with a gain of 625 points, while NSE’s 50-share index Nifty fell by 150 points and fell below 18 thousand. Opened at 17,977.

Let us tell you that the Indian market is closing with a decline for the last three trading sessions. Earlier, on the last trading day Thursday (22 December 2022), there was a downward trend in the Indian stock market for the third consecutive time. The Sensex fell 241 points to close at 60,826. While the Nifty fell 71 points to close at 18,127.

Today’s to gainers and losers

Talking about today’s rising shares, the shares of many companies including Dr Reddy Lab, Sun Pharma, Cipla, ONGC, Nestle are seeing a boom.

While looking at the falling shares, many companies including Tata Motors, Adani Port, Tata Steel, Wipro, Infosys are seeing a decline in their shares.

Rupee opens with a gain of 20 paise against the dollar

This week, on the fourth day of trading today, the rupee opened with weakness against the dollar in the foreign exchange market. Today, the rupee fell by 3 paise to 82.79 against the dollar in early trade. Whereas earlier on the last trading day on Thursday, the rupee had strengthened by 5 paise and closed at Rs 82.76 against the dollar.

Thursday (22 December): The Sensex closed at 60,826 points with a fall of 241 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,127 points with a softening of 71 points.

Wednesday (December 21): The Sensex closed at 61,067 points with a fall of 636 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,199 points with a softening of 186 points.
