New Delhi: A business delegation will be headed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin from May 23 to 24 to give people there a deep insight into the business growth potential of the South Indian state and to capture investments.

Along with 350 business people, there will be members of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with government officials from both countries are expected to be a part of the Tamil Nadu Conclave on May 24, said the SICCI at the press release on Friday.

With Tamil Nadu CM’s presence, Singapore’s Minister for Transport and Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations S Iswaran, Tamil Nadu’s Industries Minister Dr TRB Rajaa, India’s High Commissioner to Singapore P Kumaran and SICCI Chairman Neil Parekh will also be noticed.

The visit is happening ahead of the Global Investors Summit which Tamil Nadu is planning to hold at the beginning of the next year.

At the Conclave

It is to be said that several Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) are expected to be signed between the Tamil Nadu government and Singaporean establishments at the conclave.

SICCI Chairman Neil Parekh said, “The various states in India are sparing no effort to woo investors and to create jobs for the country’s citizens, and Tamil Nadu is no exception. The investment conclave is a suitable event for keen Singaporean investors to get first-hand information on the investment climate in Tamil Nadu. SICCI will be very happy to help our business leaders connect with their Tamil Nadu counterparts.”
