Aadhar Link:  As per government guidelines, employees registered with EPFO must link their EPF account to Aadhaar. Linking Aadhaar or any other documents is not that hard nowadays. Any working professional can easily update their KYC details via an online portal. Updating your KYC information gives you a variety of benefits such as easy account operation, low TDS on fund withdrawals and many. 

Registered EPFO members can easily update their KYC using the UAN EPFO website. UAN (Universal Account Number) is required in order to update or change any KYC (Know Your Customer) details. In this article you will learn to update kyc details for EPF accounts.

– EPF can smoothly transfer, if KYC is completed. 

– After KYC activation, members can receive PF credit and debit information. 

Steps to update KYC details with UAN

  • Log in to your EPF account Using UAN 
  • Choose  “KYC” option from the “Manage” section
  • Select the document who wants to update or link  (PAN, Bank Account, Aadhar, etc.)
  • Fill all the required fields
  • Click on “Save” button
  • Your request will be registered  as “KYC Pending for Approval”
  • Once the Employer approves the details, Your Document will be Updated
