New Delhi: The prices of some products are going to increase from April 1. During the budget presentation on February 1, the Finance Minister announced to imposing of an extra tax on some selected items, which will now be applicable from the very first day of next month.

The central government decided to increase import duty on items like jewellery, Cigarette, Bicycles, aircraft, helicopters, high-end electronics, plastic items..etc

  • electronic fireplace
  • jewellery
  • imported goods
  • Cigarette
  • Sleep
  • platinum
  • Silverware

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also announced the reduction of taxes while presenting the Union Budget 2023. Items such as camera lenses and smartphones will become cheaper from April 1.
