India’s benchmark stock market indices Sensex and Nifty tumbled on Friday, October 11, 2024. The 30 Sensex firms drops 230.05 points to settle at 81,381.36 points. The Nifty50 index on NSE too ended with a drop. Nifty50 tumbled 34.20 points to settle down at 24,964.25 levels in Friday trade.

Among the Sensex pack, stocks like TCS, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), ICICI Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Powergrid, Axis Bank, Adani Ports, Asian Paints etc were among the biggest laggards. However, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, JSW Steel, Hindustan Uniliver, Infosys, Titan, SBI and others were among the biggest winners. TCS tumbled the most to settle Rs 4,150.60 per share.

Tata Motors – Settle 0.23% up at Rs 930.95 per share.
Titan Company – Settle 0.79% up at Rs 3,474.90 per share.
Tata Chemicals – Settle 2.92% up at Rs 1,184.25 per share.
Tata Power – Settle 0.97% down at Rs 461 per share.
Trent Limited – Settle 2.56% up at Rs 8,238.90 per share.
Tata Communications – Settle 0.38% up at Rs 1961 per share.
Tata Technologies – Settle 0.99% in red at Rs 1,053.50 per share.
