Stock Market Opening: After a day’s rise amid mixed signals from the international and American markets, today once again the Indian domestic stock market is in a downward trend. Today both Sensex and Nifty are showing weakness. Today the business started with a fall of 82 points in the Sensex and 42 points in the Nifty.

On Thursday (9 February 2023), the fourth day of this trading week, the trading in the Indian stock market started with a red mark. Today, the BSE 30-share index Sensex opened at 60,581, down 82 points, while the NSE 50-share index Nifty opened 42 points higher at 17,829. open.

Earlier, on the last trading day Wednesday (8 February 2023), the decline of the last two days in the Indian stock market was seen to stop. The Sensex closed at 60,664, up 378 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,872, up nearly 150 points. On Wednesday, IT, metal, pharma, select banking and financial as well as auto stocks gained momentum.

Market today

At the beginning of this morning, trading started in about 1,609 companies on BSE. In which about 808 shares rose, 677 declined and the share prices of 124 companies opened stable. While 27 stocks are trading at 52 weeks high and 34 stocks are trading at 52 weeks low.

Today’s rising and falling stocks

Talking about today’s rising shares, the shares of many companies including Hindalco, Tata Steel, SBI Life, Larsen, Devi Lab are seeing a boom.

While looking at the falling stocks, many companies including Adani Enterprises, Adani Port, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Finserv, Tech Mahindra are seeing a decline in their shares.

Rupee opened with a weakness of 9 paise against the dollar

On Thursday, the fourth day of this first trading week, the foreign exchange market opened with weakness against the dollar. Today, in early trade, the rupee opened at a level of Rs 82.58 against the dollar with a weakness of 9 paise. On the other hand, on the last trading day on Wednesday, the rupee had strengthened by 21 paise and closed at Rs 82.49 against the dollar.

Wednesday (8 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,664 points with a gain of 378 points. While the Nifty closed at 17,872 points with a jump of about 150 points.

Tuesday (7 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,286 points with a fall of 220 points. While the Nifty closed at 17,718 points with a softening of about 50 points.

Monday (6 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,506 points with a fall of 343 points. While the Nifty closed at 17,764 points with a softening of about 90 points.

Friday (3 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,841 points with a jump of 909 points. While the Nifty closed at 17,854 points with a gain of 243 points.

Thursday (2 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 59,932 points with a jump of 224 points. While the Nifty fell 6 points to close at 17,610 points.

Wednesday (1 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 59,708 points with a jump of 158 points. While the Nifty fell 46 points to close at 17,616 points.
