Stock Market Opening: Today once again there is a declining trend in the Indian domestic stock market amid mixed signals from the international and American markets. Today both Sensex and Nifty are showing weakness. Today, trading started with a fall of 102 points in the Sensex and 33 points in the Nifty.
On Friday (10 February 2023), the fifth day of this trading week, the trading in the Indian stock market started with a red mark. Today, the BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opened at 60,703, down 102 points, while the NSE’s 50-share index Nifty opened at 17,860, down 33 points.
Earlier, on the last trading day Thursday (9 February 2023), the Indian stock market saw a boom. The Sensex closed at 60,806, up 142 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,893, up nearly 21 points. On Wednesday, IT, metal, pharma, select banking and financial as well as auto stocks gained momentum.

At the beginning of this morning, trading started in about 1,612 companies on BSE. Out of which, about 792 shares opened up, 698 declined and 122 companies opened at a stable price. While 38 shares opened at 52-week high and 37 shares opened at 52-week low.
Stock Market Opening: Trend in Asian markets
Amidst the fall in the US market, there is a selling trend in most of the Asian markets today. There is a boom in some stock markets, softness is being seen in many places. SGX Nifty saw 0.63 per cent, Straight Times 0.28 per cent, Hangseng 1.79 per cent, Taiwan Weighted 0.15 per cent, Kospi 0.75 per cent, Shanghai Composite 0.60 per cent, while Nikkei 225 gained 0.25 per cent.

Talking about today’s rising stocks, the shares of many companies including UPL HDFC Life, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Mahindra & Mahindra are seeing a boom.
While looking at the falling stocks, many companies including Adani Enterprises, HCL Tech, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Wipro are seeing a decline in their shares.
Rupee opens with weakness of 9 paise against dollar
On Thursday, the fourth day of this first trading week, the foreign exchange market opened with weakness against the dollar. In early trade today, the rupee opened at a level of 82.63 against the dollar with a weakness of 12 paise. On the other hand, on Thursday, the rupee had closed at a level of Rs 82.51 against the dollar with a weakness of 1 paise on Thursday.
