Stock Market Opening: The Indian domestic stock market is still in a downward trend on Monday after the seventh consecutive day of decline due to mixed strong signals from the international and American markets. Today both Sensex and Nifty are showing weakness. Today, trading started with a gain of 132 points in the Sensex and 37 points in the Nifty.

On Monday (27 February 2023), the first trading day of this week, the Indian stock market started weak. Today, the BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opened with a gain of 132 points at 59,331, while the NSE’s 50-share index Nifty opened with a gain of 37 points at 17,428. open.

Earlier, on the last trading day Friday (24 February 2023), the Indian stock market closed with a decline for the sixth consecutive day. The Sensex closed at 59,663, down nearly 141 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,465, down nearly 45 points. Last week also the market recorded a continuous decline. Due to which about 3.25 lakh crore rupees were lost to the investors.

Market today

At the beginning of this morning, trading started in about 2,304 companies on BSE. Out of which, about 1,365 shares rose, 760 declined and 179 companies started trading without any change in share price. While 39 stocks are trading at 52 weeks high and 46 stocks at 52 weeks low.

Today’s rising and falling stocks

Talking about today’s rising shares, the shares of many companies including Adani Port, Asian Paint, Cipla, NTPC, Bajaj Finserv are seeing a boom.

While looking at the falling shares, many companies including Bajaj Auto, Adani Enterprises, Infosys, Hindalco, Tech Mahindra are seeing a decline in their shares.

Rupee opened with a weakness of 13 paise against the dollar

On the first day of this first trading week, on Monday also, the foreign exchange market opened with weakness against the dollar. Today in early trade, the rupee opened at a level of Rs 82.88 against the dollar with a weakness of 13 paise. Whereas on the last trading day on Friday, the rupee had strengthened by 11 paise and closed at Rs 82.75 against the dollar.

Friday (24 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 59,463, down nearly 141 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,465, down nearly 45 points.

Thursday (23 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 59,605, down nearly 139 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,511, down nearly 43 points.

Wednesday (22 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 59,744, down nearly 927 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,554, down nearly 272 points.

Tuesday (21 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,672, down nearly 18 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,826, down nearly 18 points.

Monday (20 February 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,691 points with a fall of 311 points. While the Nifty closed at 17,847 points with a softening of about 97 points.
