New Delhi: Soon after acquiring the social media giant Twitter, Elon Musk announced that “Twitter user will now be able to edit their tweets within 30 minutes”.

However, unlike many of the features the platform is offering for free now, this feature will be available for Rs 400 per month.

Elon Musk bought Twitter and soon after he started sacking “key executives while offering little explanation of how he plans” to realise the goals he has set forth for the significant social media network.

He tweeted “The bird is freed” after completing his $44 billion acquisition on Thursday, making obvious reference to his wish to see Twitter loosen its restrictions on what can be written.

Other objectives include trying to “fight” spam bots on Twitter and opening up the algorithms that decide how material is shown to consumers.

Musk, however, has not provided specifics on how he intends to do all of this or who would lead the company. He has stated that he intends to make job cuts, which has Twitter’s 7,500 employees worried about the future. On Thursday, he added that he bought Twitter “to try to help humanity, whom I love,” rather than in order to increase his financial gain.

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
