Share Market Update: Share market on Monday saw a big jump after two-day continuous fall. Today is the first day of the fifth business week of the new year 2023. Today both Sensex and Nifty are showing gains. Sensex and Nifty both open on green mark. Today the Sensex opened with a fall of 258 and Nifty 91 points.

Market today
At the beginning of this morning, trading started in about 2,918 companies on BSE in the beginning today. Out of which about 1,737 shares opened up and 1,009 declined. While the share rates of 172 companies remained stable. While 56 shares are trading at 52 week high and 87 shares at lower level.
Today’s top gainer and losers
Talking about today’s rising shares, the shares of many companies including Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance, SBI, Bajaj Finserv are seeing a boom.
On the other hand, if you look at the falling shares, many companies including Power Grid Corporation, SBI Life, HUL, Apollo Hospital, Bharti Airtel are seeing a decline in their shares.
Rupee opened with a weakness of 16 paise against the dollar
On Monday, the first day of the fifth trading week of this year, the rupee opened with weakness against the dollar in the foreign exchange market. In early trade today, the rupee opened at a level of 81.68 against the dollar with a weakness of 16 paise. On the other hand, on the last trading day on Friday, the rupee had strengthened by 7 paise and closed at Rs 81.52 against the dollar.

Friday (27 January 2023): Sensex closed at 59,330 points with a fall of 874 points. While the Nifty fell 287 points to close at 17,604.
Thursday (26 January 2023): The market was closed on account of Republic Day holiday.
Wednesday (25 January 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,205 points with a fall of 774 points. While the Nifty fell 226 points to close at 17,891.
Tuesday (24 January 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,978 points with a jump of 37 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,118 points with a decline of 1 point (flat).
Monday (23 January 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,942 points with a gain of 320 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,119 points with a gain of 91 points.
Friday (20 January 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,621 points with a jump of 360 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,027 points with a gain of 50 points.
