Share Market Today: Sensex Plunges 241 Points, Nifty Drops 78 Points In Today’s Market Crash

Share Market Today: The Indian stock market benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, settled down in red on Monday, November 18, 2024. The Sensex (index with top 30 firms) tumbled 241.30 points to settle at 77,339.01 on Monday. Nifty50 (index with top 50 firms) also declined 78.90 points to settle at 23,453.80 points. Notably, the benchmark indices are trailing from quite a some time now.

The only Sensex gainers on Monday were Tata Steel, Hindustan Unilever, and Nestle India whereas TCS, Infosys, NTPC, HCL Technologies, Axis Bank, and Tech Mahindra were among the losers.

ICICI Bank – Settle 0.20% down at Rs 1,252.80 per share.

Tata Motors – Settle 0.28% down at Rs 772.05 per share.

TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) – Settle 3.05% down at Rs 4,019.50 per share.

Reliance Industries (RIL) – Settle 0.56% down at Rs 1,260.65 per share.

JSW Steel – Settle 1.09% up at Rs 949.05 per share.

HCL Technologies – Settle 1.41% down at Rs 1,833.05 per share.

Tech Mahindra – Settle 1.50% down at Rs 1,661.40 per share.

Adani Ports – Settle 1.11% up at Rs 1,278.40 per share.

ITC – Settle 0.24% up at Rs 466.95 per share.

HDFC Bank – Settle 0.67% up at Rs 1,704.50 per share.

On Monday, 16 out of 30 Sensex constituents ended in the red, while 14 Sensex stocks closed in the green.
