Stock Market: Trading started on a positive note in the Indian stock market today amid mixed signals from the international and American markets. After two consecutive days of decline, trading started strongly in the Indian domestic stock market on Thursday. Both Sensex and Nifty are seeing a boom. Trading in the stock market started on the green mark. After this Sensex is trading around 62000 and Nifty around 18300.

There is a bullish trend in the Indian stock market even today. On Thursday (18 May 2023), the fourth day of this trading week, trading in the Indian stock market has started strongly. The BSE’s 30-share index Sensex is up by nearly 377 points at 61,937, while the NSE’s 50-share index Nifty is up by nearly 78 points at 18,259. is on

Earlier, on the last trading day, Wednesday (May 17), the stock market closed with weakness for the second consecutive day. The Sensex fell nearly 371 points to 61560 and the Nifty closed at 18,181, down 104 points. Shares of LIC Housing Finance declined by up to six per cent.

Talking about today’s rising stocks, today the stocks of many companies including JSW Steel, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, Hindalco, HDFC Life are seeing a boom.

If you look at the falling shares, then there is a decline in the shares of many companies including Divis Lab, BPCL, Mahindra & Mahindra, UPL, Eicher Motors.

Rupee gains by 2 paise against dollar

Today on Wednesday, the foreign exchange market opened strongly against the dollar. Against the dollar, the rupee is at the level of Rs 82.35 with a strength of 2 paise.

On Wednesday (17 May 2023), the Sensex closed at 61560 with a weakness of 371 points and the Nifty closed at 18181 points with a softening of 104 points.

On Tuesday (16 May 2023), the Sensex closed at 61932 with 413 breaks and the Nifty closed at 18286 points with a weakness of 112 points.

On Monday (15 May 2023), the Sensex closed at 62345 with a gain of 317 points and the Nifty gained 84 points to close at 18398 points.

On Friday (12 May 2023), the Sensex closed at 62021 with a gain of 117 points and the Nifty closed at 18311 points with a gain of 14 points.

On Thursday (11 May 2023), the Sensex closed at 61904 with a fall of 36 points and the Nifty closed at 18297 points with a softening of 18 points.
