Share Market Update 23 January: Today is the first day of the fourth business week of the new year 2023. And the last business day of the first month of the new year 2023. (Share Market Update 23 January) Indian domestic stock market started trading with a boom today amid strong signals from the international and US markets. Today both Sensex and Nifty are showing gains. Sensex and Nifty both open on green mark. Today trading started with a gain of 254 points in Sensex and more than 90 points in Nifty.

Asian markets mixed

Today, most of the stock markets in Asia are seeing a boom. 0.81 percent in Singapore Stock Exchange, 1.34 percent in Japan’s Nikkei market, 1.79 percent in Hong Kong market, 0.62 percent in South Korea’s Kospi and 0.75 percent in China’s Shanghai Composite today.

Rupee opens with a gain of 18 paise against the dollar

The rupee opened strongly against the dollar. The rupee today opened with a gain of 18 paise at 80.94. For the first time since December 1, the rupee has slipped below 82. The rupee strengthened to 80.88 during the trade, which is the highest level in two months.
