Share Market Opening: Today, Monday marks a new wave of optimism for market enthusiasts, on the first day of trading for the week, Nifty 50 opened on a tepid note, trading at 24148.2 (-0.21%) at 9 AM. Today Nifty 50 has been trading in the range of 24276.15 to 24066.65, and is expected to stay in a positive range until the end of the day but being cautious during the session will be helpful.
At 9:50 AM Sensex was in green trading at 79,567.38 (0.82%), Nifty 50 in green trading at 24,160.80. This indicates a market recovery, following a decline in the red previously when the market closed on Friday.

Share Market On Friday
The Indian stock market benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, closed in the red on Friday. After a decline on the fifth day of trading, the market hit low, with the BSE Sensex down. The Sensex tumbled 55.47 points to settle at 79,486.32 on Friday. Nifty50 index also declined 51.15 points to settle at 24,148.20 points.
On Friday, 16 out of 30 Sensex constituents ended in the green, while 14 Sensex stocks closed in the red.
