Is the Share Market Curse Over?
Avinash Gorakshkar, Head of Research at Profitmart Securities, the current market upswing could be a relief rally, following 19 consecutive sessions of decline. He said that during this downturn, many investors, particularly foreign institutional investors (FIIs), accumulated significant short positions, which they may now start to cover, contributing to the rally.
Experts are cautioning that the current rally in Indian equities may not be sustainable, and it’s premature to assume that the market’s curse is over.
