Share Market News: Indian stock market indices, Sensex and Nifty50, experienced a significant upswing on Monday, October 21, 2024. In early trading during Monday’s trading session, the Sensex surged 545.27 points to reach 81,770.02 points, while the Nifty50 also rallied 124.25 points to reach 24,978.30 levels.

Notably, According to the data available on NSDL website, as of October 18, net Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) outflow from the Indian equities have reached a substantial Rs 77,701 crore in the month.

Among the Sensex pack, stocks like Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, ICICI Bank etc were trading in green in early trade. However, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bharti Airtel, Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M), NTPC, Adani Ports, ITC, TCS were trailing among the Sensex pack stocks in the early trade on Monday.

On Friday, October 18, 2024, the Sensex and Nifty50 indices experienced a rally, with Sensex surging 218.14 points to settle at 81,224.75 and Nifty50 soaring 104.20 points to settle at 24,854.05 levels.
