Share Market: Indian indices opened with a red mark on Monday as Asian markets and SGX Nifty declined amid the hawkish Fed tone in US trade and disappointing retail sales data on Friday. In the day’s trade, the Sensex opened at 60,385.90, climbed as high as 60,407.86 and fell as low as 59,442.47. Meanwhile, the Nifty opened at 17,863, which was today’s high, and then went down to a low of 17,574.05.
At the close of the market, the BSE Sensex was closed at 59,910.75, down 520.25 points. At the same time, the Nifty50 closed down by 121.15 points while trading at 17,706.85.
