SBI Pensioners: Recently, the Union government launched a nationwide campaign to encourage retirees to submit digital life certificates (DLCs), also known as Jeevan Pramaan. DLCs save pensioners from having to physically present their life certificates at a bank or before the pension disbursing authorities.
Customers of the State Bank of India (SBI) can now submit their life certificates via video call, which was introduced in November 2021.
Here are details to submit life certificate through vedio call:
Step 1: Go to https://www.pensionseva.sbi/ and click on ‘VideoLC’ at the top of the page.
Step 2: On the PensionSeva mobile app’s landing screen, select “Video Life Certificate” from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: After entering the account number to which the pension is to be credited, type a captcha (which is not required if using the app).
Step 4: Check the box to authorise the authorising bank (in this case, SBI) to use your Aadhaar information for VLC, and then click “Validate Account.”
Step 5: If you are eligible for VLC, you will receive an OTP to the cellphone number associated with your Aadhaar. Enter your OTP if you received one.
Step 6: After successful validation, check the appropriate boxes to confirm the mandatory certificates (self-declared).
Step 7: After submitting all of the required certificates listed in the drop-down menu, click “Proceed.”
Step 8: At this point, you can either wait for your session or schedule another one.
