Banks provide FD facilities at high interest to people working in SBI. Bank employees get 1 percent more interest than the interest that common people get on FD.
SBI Fixed Deposit: The largest Public sector bank of India 'SBI' has hiked interest rate for Fixed deposits up to 2 crore. This action came after the Reserve Bank of India increased the repo rate by another 0.25 percent. The new interest rate would be in effect from 15, February 2023. Along with the hiked interest rate, the State Bank of India announced a special '400 days' Fixed deposit policy at an interest rate of 7.10 percent, This rate is for normal citizens, senior citizens would get 50 bps more interest rate.
