SBI credit card rules: SBI credit card rules will be changed for certian credit card holders in the beginning of January 2023. Certain rules for State Bank of India Cards and Payment Services SimplyCLICK Cardholders have been revised.
According to the State Bank of India Cards & Payment Services website, two rules regarding the redemption of vouchers and Reward Points will be changed in the New Year 2023.
Reward points
“With effect from January 6, 2023, the Cleartrip voucher issued to SimplyCLICK Cardholders upon reaching the online spend milestone must be used in a single transaction and cannot be combined with any other offer or voucher. For more information, “According to SBI Cards and Payment Services.
The rules for Reward Points on online spending at Amazon.in with SimplyCLICK/SimplyCLICK will also change on January 1.
“Accumulation of 10X Reward Points on online purchases at Amazon.in with the SimplyCLICK/SimplyCLICK Advantage SBI Card will be reduced to 5X Reward Points on January 1, 23. On online purchases at Apollo 24X7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, EazyDiner, Lenskart, and Netmeds, your card will continue to earn 10X Reward Points.”
EMI transaction
It should be noted that, as of 15 November 2022, SBI cards revised EMI transaction charges and added a new charge for credit card rent payments.
“Charges on your credit card will be revised/levied as of November 15, 22. The processing fee for merchant EMI transactions has been increased from Rs 99 to Rs 199 plus applicable taxes. The processing fee for rent payments will be Rs 99 plus applicable taxes “said the business.
