Sahara Money Refund Portal: The money of millions of investors is stuck in Sahara Group. To refund investors’ money, the Central Government has started the Sahara Refund Portal. 

The portal was launched by Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah earlier this month. In just a few days of its launching, more than five lakh investors had registered on it.

If your money of yours or any of your relatives is also stuck in Sahara Group, then you should also register on Sahara Portal soon.

As the new portal launched, many investors have been confused regarding the documents needed to submit the claim. below, we are providing the details.

Documents required for registration on Sahara Refund Portal

– Membership number,

– Aadhar card,

– Account number of the deposit,

– Mobile number which is linked with Aadhaar card,

– Deposit certificate,

– Registered mobile number should be linked with the bank account.

With all the above documents, investors will have to register by visiting the Sahara Refund Portal. After submitting the form, you will get an enrollment number. a message of the same will also be sent to your current registered mobile for confirmation.

Only 10 thousand in first phase 

The Central Government has clearly said that the money will be returned to the investors’ account within 45 days of registration on the portal. The Home Ministry informed that initially, the money of about four crore investors would be returned. Although the government has imposed a cap on the same. In the first phase, An investor can avail a return of only up to ten thousand only.

Investors who have an investment of ten thousand rupees will get preference. Those who have more than ten thousand will only get ten thousand rupees in the first phase.

As per information, more than ten crore people have their investment in Sahara Group. Through refund, the process is being initiated to return the money of the investors who invested in cooperative societies of Sahara like Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited.
