Punjab National Bank, one of the largest public sector banks, is planning to increase the ATM cash withdrawal limit. PNB has informed that it will notify its customers of the good news as soon as possible. According to the bank’s official website, the maximum number of transactions per high-end debit card will be updated soon.

According to information on the PNB website, the daily ATM cash withdrawal limit for all platinum varieties of customer Mastercard, RuPay, and Visa Gold Debit cards will be increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. The POS limit will be increased from Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand to Rs 3 lakh. According to PNB’s update, the cash withdrawal limit for Visa Signature Debit cards and RuPay Select cards will be increased from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,50,000. The daily cash withdrawal limit for POS transactions will rise from Rs. 1 lakh 25 thousand to Rs. 5 lakhs.

Tips on safe online transaction

Customers are suggested to use internet banking, mobile banking apps, PNB ATMs, IVR, or visit the base branch to take advantage of their increased transaction limit, according to a statement from the bank. Furthermore, the bank has provided tips on how to stay safe online and has advised against sharing your personal information, debit card information, or UPI PIN with anyone.

PNB Bank customers currently have a daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 25,000, a one-time cash withdrawal limit of Rs 20,000, and a daily POS transaction limit of Rs 60,000. This limit, however, only applies to Rupay and Master Classic Debit cards issued by banks. There is also a daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 50,000. The daily and one-time cash withdrawal limits for PNB customers who have a Visa Gold Debit Card are Rs 1,25,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively.

Ways to Prevent Cybercrime:

To obtain information such as the UPI PIN, opening link, or OTP, cybercriminals call people and pose as representatives of the RBI, Income Tax, bank employees, or government programmes. The bank advised against sharing such information with anyone. If you suspect such a transaction, change your UPI PIN immediately and contact customer service.
