New Delhi: Preparations for Diwali are in full swing in the country and on this occasion Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to give a big gift to about 12 crore farmers across the country. Prime Minister Modi will release the 12th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana tomorrow i.e. on October 17. This will be a big gift for the farmers before Diwali. PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022
In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the program of ‘PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022’ at the Mela Ground in New Delhi on Monday. In the two-day event, PM Modi will address farmers, agriculture startups, researchers, policy makers, bankers and other stakeholders. During this, the Prime Minister will also transfer the installment money of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to the account of the beneficiary farmers.
12th installment worth Rs 16,000 crore to be given
This time the 12th installment of Rs 16,000 crore will be released through Direct Benefit Transfer under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. So far, farmers have got the benefit of more than Rs 2 lakh crore under this scheme.
