PM Kisan 22nd Installment: The Modi government is implementing the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana with a vision to empower farmers. So far, 21 installments have been deposited into the bank accounts of beneficiaries under this scheme. The next installment is yet to arrive, i.e 22nd installment, and the wait will be over soon. The govt has released the 21st installment of the scheme on November 19, 2025. A total of 9 crore farmers have benefited from the 21st installment, as Rs 2000 has been deposited into their bank accounts. The eligible farmers are receiving Rs 2000 every four months for a total of Rs 6000 per year in three installments under the scheme.
22nd installment to be released soon
The 19th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana was released on February 24, 2025. The 20th installment was later released on August 2, 2025. The 22nd installment is expected to be released in 2026. As per the reports, the government may release it in February 2025, but till now, the date has yet been confirmed. According to the government schemes, the next installment is due in four months.
Farmers who want to receive their 22nd installment can complete their e-KYC by following these steps:
- Go to the official Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) website.
- Locate the e-KYC link and click on it on the homepage
- A new page will open where you need to enter your Aadhaar number.
- Click the ‘Search’ button on the page.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP in the given field and click ‘Submit’ to complete the process.
e-KYC to be completed for benefits
The beneficiaries who all want to receive the 22nd installment must complete the e-KYC immediately. Earlier, the government had made it clear that those whose e-KYC is not complete would not receive the money into their bank accounts. The land verification must be complete along with the e-KYC process. Recently, the govt made it mandatory, as earlier it was optional, for transparency. Funds will be transferred into the bank accounts who have completed both the processes.
