PM Kisan 21st Installment has been delayed in several states as the farmers have not yet received the Rs 2000 financial aid. It is estimated that the Central Government will transfer money into the accounts of those eligible during the first week of November. As farmers look forward to receiving the payment ahead of the first phase of the Bihar assembly elections 2025, let’s find out if banks will remain closed or open today.
Are Banks Open Today?
Banks will observe a holiday on Thursday, October 23, due to Bhaidooj, Chitragupt Jayanti, Laxmi Puja, and Ningol Chakkouba in Gujarat, Sikkim, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Himachal Pradesh. Although the farmers keenly await the installment money, the payment may be stuck. Additionally, the PM Kisan scheme’s official portal shows no recent updates regarding the information.
How To Do E-KYC?
The payment is likely to be credited on time if you have already completed e-KYC verification, land verification, and your bank account is DBT-enabled. Farmers can visit the official portal of PM Kisan (pmkisan.gov.in) and complete their e-KYC online using their Aadhaar number and OTP.
