PM Kisan 21st Installment Date: The 21st installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will likely be credited ahead of the Bihar assembly elections 2025 results. Reports indicate that Rs 2000 will be released into the eligible farmers’ accounts by early November. An official confirmation is, however, awaited. Beneficiaries must complete e-KYC verification, land verification, and check that their bank account is DBT-enabled to receive the money under the income support scheme.
Farmers can visit the official portal of PM Kisan (pmkisan.gov.in) and complete their e-KYC online using their Aadhaar number and OTP. Alternatively, they can go to nearby CSC centers or banks for verification of biometrics. Those who miss the deadlines may face payment delays during this round. Farmers across Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir have already received payment. Those who haven’t, let’s find out if banks will be open on Monday, October 27 and 28, on Chhath Puja.
Bihar: October 27 and 28 for evening and morning Puja.
Jharkhand: Two-day holiday on October 27 and 28
West Bengal: October 27 due to the evening Chhath Puja.
The festive holiday is specific to certain states, and banking operations elsewhere in the country will proceed as normal, based on announcements from the RBI’s regional offices. Meanwhile, government aims to complete the registration and verification of all eligible farmers by the end of November to ensure that no beneficiary is left out of the upcoming PM-KISAN installment.
