New Delhi: Ritesh Agarwal, the CEO of OYO, shared wonderful news on October 13, announcing his wife Geetansha Sood’s pregnancy through a heartfelt social media post. In a beautiful note to wife, Ritesh shared their journey from ” being children, to teenagers, to partners, to parents.”
The billionaire, who tied the knot with Geetansha earlier this year, posted an endearing picture with her, expressing his excitement about embarking on the journey of parenthood together.
In a heartfelt message dedicated to his wife, Ritesh reminisced about their eleven-year journey, from his teenage years filled with dreams to the present, where they have experienced both joyous milestones and challenging moments side by side.
“I met Geet eleven years ago, when I was just a teenager chasing dreams, trying to convince my family that I wanted to build my own company from scratch. There was only one constant who was by my side through it all, and it was her. The highs of happiness and milestones, the lows of pain and loss, we’ve been through so much together,” wrote Ritesh.
“This year, we got married, which was one the happiest moments of my life. And my family and I navigated through various highs and lows. Now, as Geet and I reflect on (and process) our transition from being children, to teenagers, to partners, to parents, I couldn’t be more excited. Our coming of age may have come and gone but I’m glad I got to share it all with you,” he added.

Reflecting on their marriage this year as one of the happiest moments in his life, Ritesh shared his anticipation for the transition from being a couple to becoming parents, expressing his utmost excitement. He also playfully asked for suggestions regarding baby items like nappies, strollers, and toys from his social media followers, even welcoming innovative startup recommendations.
Additionally, Ritesh Agarwal will be taking on the role of a judge in the upcoming season of Shark Tank India.
