How to travel to Bhutan

Indian visitors who wish to visit Bhutan must have a passport with a minimum validity of six months. If you do not have a passport, you can still complete your work using the Voter ID card. It is recommended that children carry their birth certificate or academic school ID card. Both road and air routes connect India to Bhutan.

How to get to Nepal

All major airports in India have direct flights to Kathmandu, Nepal. In response to the question of whether Indians need a passport to visit Nepal, the Nepalese government states that we only require a document proving your Indian citizenship. You can do this by presenting your voter ID card or Indian passport.
