The fallout of Silicon Valley Bank dragged Wall Street lower on Friday and on the very next trading day on Monday, global markets went on a huge shrink.
The indices of the Indian stock market Sensex and Nifty closed at a five-month low after a huge loss of 897 points and 258.60 points respectively on a single trading day.

The whole sectoral indices showed losses due to which companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange lost around Rs 4.21 lakh crore today.
At the end of the market, the Sensex (Index of top-30 shares on BSE) closed at 58,237.85 after suffering a loss of 897.82 points or 1.52%, and Nifty (Index of top 50 shares on NSE) closed at 17,155.50 with loss of 257.40 points or 1.48%.
The market continued its downward trends for three consecutive trading days.
