These companies had explained that the price hike was necessary as the rates had not been adjusted since the launch of 5G services.

To meet these expenses, they say, the only option is to increase recharge prices. Additionally, companies have highlighted the costs of acquiring spectrum and upgrading infrastructure. According to reports, the average cost of a mobile recharge is currently Rs 200 per month. If the recharge plans become more expensive, this cost could rise to Rs 349.
