The Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana of the Central Government is a lavish pension system.

Workers can obtain a yearly pension of Rs 36,000 by contributing just Rs 2 to the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana.

Pension detail

To take advantage of this scheme, you must have an Aadhaar card and a bank account. Only then and only then may you apply for this scheme. This requires a monthly contribution of Rs55. When you reach the age of 60, you will begin getting a pension. By making a daily investment of Rs 2 or less, you can receive a monthly pension of Rs 3,000.

The national government has taken into account the country’s labourers, including those who work as street merchants, rickshaw pullers, construction workers, and others. The purpose of this initiative is to protect the retirement of workers in the unorganised sector.

Eligibility

This scheme is open to those between the ages of 18 and 40. If you are 18 years old and want to join this scheme, you must pay a monthly premium of Rs 55 or less than Rs 2 each day. You would be eligible for an annual pension of Rs 36,000.

A 40-year-old must budget Rs 200 a month, or Rs 6.50 every day. The applicant for this scheme must have a monthly salary of less than 15,000 rupees. In addition to the Labor Department’s office, LIC and EPFO have been designated as Shramik Facilitation Centers for this purpose.

To take advantage of this plan, employees must first register at the Common Service Center (CSC). Registration requires an Aadhaar card, a passbook from a savings or Jan Dhan bank account, and a mobile number. A consent letter will be requested of you. It must be deposited into the bank account. The funds will be sent from the worker’s account to the PM Shram Yogi Maan Dhan Pension Yojana account as soon as the bank receives the information.
