As of November 2, 2025, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Mumbai stands at Rs 852.50, and at Rs 853 in Delhi, with no change compared to the previous month. LPG prices in India have remained stable since April 2025, following a Rs 50 hike introduced earlier this year.
Over the past 12 months, LPG prices have shown a steady upward trend, increasing by Rs 5 between November 2024 and October 2025. The most significant price revision occurred in April 2025, marking the last major change in gas cylinder prices.
LPG price trends are influenced by global crude oil rates, international energy costs, and domestic subsidy policies. Despite global fluctuations, LPG cylinder prices in India have remained steady for several months, offering relief to households amid rising living costs.
Changes in commercial LPG prices
As per the new rates that came into effect yesterday, the cost of a 19 kg gas cylinder has become higher in different parts of the country. After the change, the retail price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi now stands at Rs 1590.50. The previous price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas in Delhi was 1595.50, hence the price was lowered by Rs 5 per 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder.
In other cities, including Kolata, Mumbai, and Chennai, new revised prices stand at Rs 1694, Rs 1542, and Rs 1750 per cylinder. Prices of the domestic LPG cylinder remain the same, with no such changes announced so far.
