LPG gas Price cut:
Cost of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders in Mumbai is 1,808.5 while it is available in Kolkata at the rate of Rs 1,960.50, A LPG cylnder is being sold at the rate of Rs Rs 2,021.50 in Chennai with effect from today.
State-backed oil marketing companies (OMCs) on April 1 has slashed the rates of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 91.50 per unit. Before this recent price revision, a 19 kg LPG cylinder cost Rs 2,028 in Delhi, Rs 2,132 in Kolkata, Rs 1,980 in Mumbai, and Rs 2,192.50 in Chennai respectively, as per Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
From today, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 171.50. According to the information, from today the retail sale price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 1856.50.
Common people breathe a sigh of relief amid rising commodities prices and global inflation. It’s like a cold breeze amid hot summer. The price cut of commercial LPG has brought cheer among businessmen.
Price hiked on April 1
Earlier, Oil companies on April 1 has reduced the price of commercial cylinders by Rs 91.50. According to the website of IOCL, after this reduction, the price of commercial gas cylinders has been reduced by Rs 91.5 in Delhi and Mumbai. At the same time, it has become cheaper by Rs 89.50 in Kolkata and Rs 75.50 in Chennai. After which the commercial gas cylinder is now available at Rs 2028 in Delhi, Rs 1980 in Mumbai, Rs 2132 in Kolkata, and Rs 2192.50 in Chennai.

On the other hand, the prices of domestic gas cylinders are stable. That is, domestic gas cylinders are available at the old price only. For domestic LPG cylinder, you will have to pay the same amount as before. Currently, domestic gas cylinders are available for Rs 1,103 in Delhi, Rs 1,102.50 in Mumbai, Rs 1,129 in Kolkata and Rs 1,118.50 in Chennai.
