PM Kisan 21st Installment: The long wait for Rs 2000 financial aid under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is finally over. The Central Government has released the 21st installment of approximately Rs 18,000 crore into the bank account of 9 crore farmers in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, today (November 19, 2025).
Launched on February 24, 2019, the Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi Yojana promises eligible farmers Rs 6,000 in financial aid in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. The money is credited straight to the beneficiaries’ accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Earlier on August 2, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the PM Kisan 20th instalment into the accounts of 9.7 crore eligible beneficiaries. So far, over Rs. 3.70 lakh crores have been transferred to more than 11 crore farmer families across the country in 20 installments. Beneficiaries who have completed e-KYC verification, land verification, and have checked that their bank account is DBT-enabled are eligible to receive the money under the income support scheme.
Not Received PM Kisan 21st Installment? Here’s Why
The government has identified certain suspected cases that were excluded from the beneficiary list under the PM Kisan Yojana. These include:
- Farmers who acquired land ownership after February 1, 2019.
- Cases where more than one family member is receiving benefits (e.g., both husband and wife, an adult member and a minor, etc.).

Here’s how you can check the ‘PM Kisan 21st Installment’ status:
- Visit: pmkisan.gov.in
- Go to ‘Farmers Corner’
- Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’
- Enter details such as Aadhaar or registration number
- You can now check your village list under ‘Beneficiary List’
Complete E-KYC To Receive Rs 2000
Farmers across Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir have already received the payout. E-KYC is MANDATORY for all registered Farmers. For OTP based eKYC, farmers can visit the official PM Kisan portal, while for biometric-based eKYC, they must visit the nearest CSC centers.
