The company did not share much information about 5G plans and trials. Whereas information about other telecom companies like Vodafone Idea (Vi) and Bharti Airtel kept coming out.

According to Akash Ambani, Jio will provide world class, affordable 5G and 5G-enabled service to the users. Let us tell you that the company has bought so much spectrum during the spectrum auction that it can launch 5G service on a large scale in the country.

This telecom company has spent more than Rs 88,078 crore in this spectrum auction. With this, it also has such airwaves which other telecom companies do not have. Jio is the only telecom company which currently has 700 MHz airwaves. This will benefit it from other telecom companies.

Till now, all the 5G networks were up for trial for which the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) had given spectrum.
We will have to wait for more information regarding this. Users will also need a 5G SIM for this.

Apart from this, if it is successful in doing this, then it will get more benefit than other telecom companies.
