Jio had introduced a new plan for users who wanted to watch IPL. Now, Jio is ending this plan. On March 31, Jio stopped the free JioHotstar offer. This offer was available for users who recharged with prepaid plans of ₹299 or more. Jio announced this offer two weeks ago, just before the start of IPL 2025.

With Jio prepaid plans, users have been getting free access to IPL 2025 and other JioHotstar content until yesterday. This offer was announced only till March 31, 2025, and there has been no official announcement about extending it. With this offer, if you recharge with a 2GB daily data plan, you also get unlimited 5G data.

JioHotstar Plans Available After March 31

If you still want to enjoy free JioHotstar after March 31, you can choose from the ₹949, ₹195, or ₹100 plans. These plans will still be available after March 31, 2025. The ₹195 and ₹100 plans are data vouchers, while the ₹949 plan comes with service validity.

What do you get with the ₹949 plan? This plan offers unlimited voice calling, 2GB daily data, 100 SMS per day, and a JioHotstar mobile subscription for 84 days.

What do you get with the ₹195 and ₹100 plans? The ₹195 plan gives you 15GB of data, while the ₹100 plan offers 5GB of data. Both plans are valid for 90 days and give you access to JioHotstar for the same period. Once the validity ends, you can recharge again to continue enjoying JioHotstar mobile access.

Jio’s Plan for Network Improvement Jio is taking steps to strengthen its network. There is a lot of buzz about Starlink, as satellite internet is being introduced. Satellite internet uses satellites to provide internet service, and Starlink satellites are in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), which is the closest orbit to Earth. Jio and Airtel are both looking to enter the satellite internet market.
