Janani Suraksha Yojana: The central government is implementing several schemes with the interests of all groups in mind. Schemes for newborn children to senior citizens have all been established. Through these schemes, people receive financial assistance from the government, either directly or in the form of interest.
Following this, the government introduced the Women Scheme, which provides Rs6,000 to women’s bank accounts to help with pregnancy and newborn health. This programme was created with the goal of providing children with adequate nutrition and financial security. This programme provides financial assistance to pregnant women who give birth.
The Janani Suraksha Yojana provides benefits to low-income households. The scheme covers both government-licensed private hospitals and government-run healthcare facilities. The benefit of this scheme cannot be used if the delivery takes place in another hospital. Furthermore, the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritv Abhiyan allows for delivery checkups in private or government hospitals from the first to the ninth of every month.
To be eligible for Janani Suraksha Yojana, you must have a bank account, an Aadhaar card, a voter ID card, and a delivery certificate from a government hospital. These documents must accompany the scheme application form. The scheme’s benefits will be provided following the approval of this application.
How to apply
This plan will be carried out with the assistance of ASHA. The ASHA employee will be responsible for enrolling everyone, updating all of the data, and informing all pregnant mothers. Any pregnant woman who wishes to receive benefits under this scheme must meet with the Gram Panchayat’s ASHA worker. In the absence of the ASHA worker, the village chief can be contacted.
