New Delhi: After showing some gain in early trade, the Indian Rupee closed 10 paise lower against US dollar on the last trading day of the week (Friday). The Indian currency ended at 82.17 a dollar as compared to last day’s closing mark of 82.07.
In early trade, the local currency had hit a near two-week high of 81.94 in early trades.
Meanwhile, the crude oil prices traded almost flat to $81.33 per barrel (Brent crude Futures), and $76.86 per barrel (US West Texas Intermediate crude futures).
Sensex Nifty goes upward
The two major indices of the Indian Share market closed with green marks today. Sensex registered a 502.1 points growth while Nifty ended at 19,564.50 going upward by 150.75 points.
