SBI is introducing customer-friendly facilities in order to tackle increasing queries of customers in day to day life. In an attempt to provide seamless and hassle-free quick respond to consumer inquiries, State Bank of India (SBI), the largest lender in the country’s public sector, has provided both online and web-based services. SBI WhatsApp Banking is an interesting free service facility that the bank has introduced last year to help customers with all of their banking-related questions. Customers can now use WhatsApp to access the majority of their banking services thanks to these additional facilities.
One just needs to scan the QR code with a mobile device to access the free SBI WhatsApp service.

How to use SBI WhatsApp Banking Service; steps to follow:
- First send SMS WAREG A/C No (1845608933148) from your mobile number which is registered with the bank. Once the registration is done, you will be able to use SBI’s WhatsApp service.
- A message will open- Send Hi on WhatsApp (+909022690226). Then follow the instructions of Chatbot.
- You will have the option of Account Balance, Mini Statement, De-Register WhatsApp Banking.
- To check account balance, you have to type 1 and for mini statement you have to type 2.
