Mother Dairy has given good news for its crores of customers in India, including Delhi-NCR. Mother Dairy will be cutting the prices of many of its major products from 22 September 2025. The new move comes after the government had decided to reduce its GST rates. Mother Dairy will be the first to reduce prices, passing on the benefit received from the central government.
Why the cut on Mother Dairy products?
The centre has recently reduced the GST rates on value-added dairy products and horticultural products. Earlier, the GST rates for dairy products were 12% or 18%. Now they have been reduced to just 5% or 0%. This is the reason why the dairy giant decided to pass the benefit to the customers.
