JioHotstar Breaks Record with 1,370 Million Views in IPL 2025 Opener
Last week, JioHotstar, the official streaming platform for the Indian Premier League (IPL), set a new record with 1,370 million views during the opening weekend of the tournament, which began on March 22. The digital viewership for the first three matches was 40% higher than last season, thanks to a 54% increase in people watching on connected TVs (CTV), according to JioHotstar’s statement.
