On Dhanteras, October 18, gold prices in India are Rs 13,278 per gram for 24-karat gold, Rs 12,171 per gram for 22-karat gold, and Rs 9,959 per gram for 18-karat gold.

Gold, Silver MCX
Gold futures for December on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose sharply, climbing Rs 2,442 to reach a record high of Rs 1,32,294 per 10 grams. At the same time, silver futures for December also hit a new high of Rs 1,70,415 per kilogram.
