For the last several days, there seems to be a brake on the ongoing rise in the price of gold and silver. For the second consecutive trading day, a fall in the prices of gold and silver is being seen. After this decline, gold has once again come close to Rs 60,000 per 10 grams and silver to Rs 74,209 per kg.

Gold-silver on IBJA

According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Tuesday (24 April 2023), gold (Gold Price Today) became cheaper by Rs 95 per ten grams and is trading at Rs 60096 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Friday, gold became cheaper by Rs 425 and closed at Rs 60191 per 10 grams.

On Monday, along with gold, the price of silver is also seen falling. On Monday, silver is trading at a level of Rs 74209 per kg with a gain of Rs 564. Whereas on the last trading day on Friday, silver fell by Rs 646 to close at Rs 74773 per kg.

Gold-silver on MCX

Unlike the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold and silver are trading with a decline on the Commodity Exchange (MCX) today. On MCX, gold fell by Rs 87 per 10 grams to the level of Rs 59,758, while silver was trading at Rs 74,169 with a softening of Rs 485.

Gold slips by Rs 700 and silver by Rs 5700 from all-time high

With this boom, gold is being sold cheaper by about Rs 784 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Significantly, gold made its all-time high on 13 April 2023. At that time gold had gone up to the level of Rs 60880 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver is getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 5771 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.

14 to 24 Carat Gold Price

In this way, on Monday, 24 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 60096 per 10 gram, 23 carat gold by Rs 59855 per 10 gram, 22 carat gold by Rs 55048 per 10 gram, 18 carat gold by Rs 45072 per 10 gram and 14 carat gold is trading at the level of Rs 35156 per 10 grams.

Gold and silver in international market

Like the Indian bullion market, both gold and silver are trading with a decline in the international market today. In the US market, gold was trading down by $5.98 at $1,978.80 an ounce and silver was down $0.26 at $24.86 an ounce.
