Gold Price Update: Gold and silver prices have been steadily rising over the previous several days as the wedding season begins. However, following the climb of the previous three trading days, there was a modest weakening in the price of silver on Thursday, the fourth trading day of this trading week, when gold prices remained unchanged. While the price of gold remained unchanged on Thursday, silver fell by Rs 350 per kg.

Following this, gold is selling for roughly Rs 51,500 per 10 gram and silver for around Rs 61,200 per kg. At the moment, gold costs Rs 4600 per 10 gram and silver costs Rs 18700 per kg.

Gold closed at Rs 51514 per kg on Thursday, the third trading day of current trading week. On the other hand, gold increased in price by Rs 556 per ten kilos on Wednesday, closing at Rs 51514 per ten pounds.

On Thursday, the price of silver fell, as it did for gold. Silver fell by Rs 350 to close at Rs 61,200 per kilogram. On the other hand, on Wednesday, silver became more expensive at Rs 1305 per kg and closed at Rs 61550 per kg.

14 to 24 carat gold price

As a result, Thursday saw no change in the rate and on Wednesday 24 carat gold 556 increased in price by Rs 51514, 23 carat gold 554 increased in price by Rs 51308, 22 carat gold 509 increased in price by Rs 47187, 18 carat gold 417 increased in price by Rs 38636, and 14 carat gold increased in price by Rs 326 and closed at Rs 30136 per 10 grams.

Gold is  Rs 4530 cheaper and silver is Rs 18,580 cheaper than its all-time high.

Gold is currently selling for Rs 4686 per 10 gram less than its all-time high. Let us remind you that gold reached an all-time high in August 2020. At the time, gold had reached a price of Rs 56200 per ten kilos. At the same time, silver was falling in price, falling to around Rs 18780 per kilogram from its peak. The highest price of silver ever recorded is Rs 79980 per kilogram.
