Gold Price Update: Wedding season is in full swing in the country. Everyone wants to buy gold, silver jewellery and here is olden chance for them as rate of gold is Rs 1800 less than its all time high rate. For the last several months, the prices of gold and silver have been witnessing a steady rise. However, the prices of gold and silver do decrease slightly in between. But it is momentary. At present, gold is selling near the psychological level of Rs 57000 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 67000 per kg.
Rates are not issued on Saturday-Sunday
It may be noted that Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA) does not issue rates on Saturdays and Sundays except on holidays declared by the Central Government. That is, now the new rate of gold and silver will be released on Monday.
On Friday, the fifth day of this trading week, gold (Gold Price Update) became cheaper by Rs 559 per 10 grams and closed at Rs 57038 per kg. Whereas on the last trading day on Thursday, gold had gained Rs 59 per 10 grams and closed at Rs 57597 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, a softening in the price of silver (Gold Price Update) was recorded on Friday. On Friday, silver fell by Rs 743 to close at Rs 66740 per kg. Whereas on Thursday, the silver rate fell by Rs 33 and closed at Rs 67483 per kg on the last trading day.
Latest 14 to 24 carat rate
After this rally, 24 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 559 to Rs 57038, 23 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 556 to Rs 56810, 22 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 512 to Rs 52247, 18 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 419 to Rs 42779 and 14 carat gold became cheaper by Rs 559. Gold has become cheaper by Rs 327 and is trading at Rs 33367 per 10 grams.
Gold down by Rs 1800; Silver by Rs 13200 from all-time high
After this fall, gold is selling cheaper by Rs 1844 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Let us tell you that before this, gold had made its all-time high on 2 February 2022. On that day gold had gone up to the level of Rs 58882 per ten grams. At the same time, silver was still getting cheaper than its highest level at the rate of Rs 13240 per kg. The all-time high level of silver is Rs 79980 per kg.
