Gold Price Today: Bad news for Yellow metal buyers as gold prices rise amid wedding season, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat precious metal increased today by Rs 10 or 1 percent during the early morning trade. The hike was due to the investors anticipating an RBI monetary policy announcement.
The price of 24-carat gold on Friday rose by Rs 10 in early trade, with ten grams of the yellow metal selling at Rs 77,620, according to Good Returns. Silver prices dropped by Rs 100, with one kilogram of the precious metal trading at Rs 92,000. 22-carat gold price today witnessed an increase of Rs 10 and the ten grams of the yellow metal was trading at Rs 71,150.
In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold is equivalent to the prices in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad at Rs 77,890. The rate of ten grams of 24-carat gold today is Rs 77,890.
The price of ten grams of 22-carat gold in Mumbai is Rs 71,400, the same as in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. At the same time, ten grams of 22-carat gold in Delhi is Rs 71,550.
In Delhi, one kilogram of silver is selling at Rs 92,000, which is on par with prices in Mumbai and Kolkata. In Chennai, one kilogram of silver is selling at Rs 1,01,100
